Our beef herd is Aberdeen Angus, a breed that for centuries has been celebrated as the world-leader in the cattle breeding industry when looking for top quality output and manageable cattle. This hardy breed – with a carcass size ideal for market requirements – is renowned worldwide as the leading beef brand.

At Glenmore Estate, we use AI for the beef unit, and we use a Lely Robotic Vector feeder to feed the herd. Animals are weighed to establish proficiency of feed conversion and profitability for finishing stock. This is part of our overall effort to introduce precision farming and efficiency into every aspect of what we do.
